It was all fun, games and lots of beautiful cars as BMW India displayed the entire product portfolio at the BMW Experience Tour 2015 showcasing the dynamism, versatility and high performance that the Bavarian-born cars are known for. With the Experience Tour being conducted in 18 cities, Mumbai was the ninth city to host the tour and was located at Raymond Ltd, Pokharan Road No.1, Near Cadbury Factory, Thane West, Mumbai.
The BMW Experience Tour 2015 is designed to provide customers a platform to experience the brand BMW while allowing them to test drive the vehicles and also interact with product experts. Customers were given the opportunity to experience the entire BMW range of sedans comprising of sedans and Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs) on a specially designed test course. In addition, customers were immersed in the specially designed BMW individual lounge, the lifestyle section with Beemer merchandise on display while the enthusiasts got the kicks from the newly launched and breathtakingly beautiful i8 as well as the M cars and MINI range that was on display.
Keeping up with its promise, customers got a chance to test drive the best of German engineering with the lineup comprising of the 1-Series, 3-Series, 3-Series Gran Turismo (GT), 5-Series as well as the flagship 7-Series. The SAV lovers were rejoiced by the choices of the X1, X3 and BMW X5 that were put through the exercises, including slalom, fast laps, corner braking and emergency braking. The setup ensured that customers experience the impressive skills of the X range under the expert guidance of BMW trainers. With BMW’s intelligent xDrive All-Wheel Drive system, the cars offer control in abundance as the tech constantly monitors and distributes the power smoothly between the axles. The xDrive system is available as standard on the X3, X5 and the X6 in India while it is also offered as optional on the X1 SAV.
If the regular three-pot and six-pot motors don’t fancy your taste, BMW had also organized the mighty ///M powered M3 sedan and M4 coupe at the Experience Tour 2015, that displayed the technological and performance prowess on the BMW cars along with remarkable levels of individuality and safety along with lung bashing high-performance driving while going sideways. Customers also witnessed the new Mobile Brand Store which will be a part of every Experience Tour going forward and will host the Individual Lounge, BMW i8 display, Lifestyle Section with BMW merchandise, BMW M Cars display, MINI display, food and beverage section and a Playstation console. There was also the BMW 7-Series Individual on special display that offers the highest levels of luxury in the Bavarian automaker’s lineup.
