Glamour, elegance, beauty and persona are the traits oozing from this Italian manufacturer, and India should get a taste of all this exotic metal, with the help of the Kinetic group who would be bringing these Italians to our subcontinent.
The year 2015 is definitely an important one in the world of Indian motorcycles. With Ducati re-entering India at the start of the year it’s time for another exotic Italian manufacturer to get a piece of the action. With their huge pedigree and racing history MV Agusta are the only brand in the world apart from Ducati that truly build eye wateringly gorgeous motorcycles and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. There’s something bespoke and unique to these machines, their ability to transcend known boundaries of beauty and style.
The MV Agusta parade would be brought to India by the Kinetic Group who intend to get the entire range to the Indian market in the period of two years. Kinetic world would also be responsible for setting up exclusive dealerships for the brand. The first motorcycles are to be launched in November this year and the prices should hover between 12lakhs to 33 lakhs depending on the machine you chose. We could also expect to see a sub 500cc locally manufactured MV Agusta in the future.
MV Agusta plan to begin their assault of the Indian market with the aid of their aggressive street fighter the Brutale. The Brutale is a typical European street fighter with gorgeous proportions and a naked charm. Powering the Brutale is MV’s signature 798cc triple which pumps 125 HP and for the more powerful Brutale 1090 is the 1078cc inline 4 producing 144 HP. The Brutale should see its power being delivered with the help of an 8-level advanced traction control and ride by wire system. The Brutale will directly fire shots at the Ducati Monster 821, the Triumph Street Triple and the Kawasaki Z800.
Along with the Brutale MV Agusta would be bringing in their Rivale. The Rivale is a direct competitor to the Ducati Hypermotard and follows a similar design philosophy. The Rivale shares an engine with its streetfighter cousin using the same 798cc triple but misses on a bigger litre class engine.
Coming to the Super sport category expect MV to bring their F3 675, 800 and their flagship F4. The F3 and the F4 look very similar with their smooth flowing and fluidic lines. The F3 and F4 are true purposeful thoroughbreds and should keep super sport manufactures on their toes. The 675 is powered by the MV 675 triple that produces 128 HP and an evocative Italian grunt. The flagship F4 is powered by a short stroke inline 4 that boasts a magnificent 195 HP in the standard F4 and a whopping 200 HP in the F4 RR. The F4 RR also distinguishes itself in terms of styling and is one the most beautiful motorcycles to grace this planet. With its single sided swing arm, underseat 4 tailpipe exhaust system, forged rims and sheer Italian grace, the MV Agusta F4 is a bike that would put the most glamorous supermodels to shame.
The MV Agusta fever is something that has to be felt. Their soul and personality resonates in the way these exclusive machines are designed and shaped. The evocative sounds they make could stir orgasms. India will soon engulfed in this fever, and it’s time to prepare ourselves.
