Hyundai, the Korean automotive brand known to all for its cars being equipped with loads of gadgets and gizmos, has not kept any stone unturned at the Frankfurt Motor Show by launching their new performance division to be referred as ‘N’ and the cars coming out from the Korean stable are seriously as wicked as it gets. Taking the performance brand to a whole new level of awesomeness, the Korean car maker unveiled the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo that grabbed all the eyeballs at the recently concluded Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Hyundai 2025 Vision Gran Turismo is a platform through Hyundai is planning to enter the growing performance sector, and the concept will be seen coming on the PlayStation Gran Turismo video games only. The concept foresees the future of the auto world and is powered by the world’s first mass produced hydrogen fuel cell system from Hyundai that promises more performance oriented cars with a great blend of sustainability as well. This stunner from Hyundai packs some great stuff featuring a compact and lightweight fuel cell, based on a rigid CFRP monocoque structure that weighs less than 972 kg. The concept gets an incredible power-to-weight ratio with low centre of gravity making it able to perform against any opponent, on paper at least.

Speaking of power, the Hyundai 2025 Vision Gran Turismo pushes out 871 HP, wherein the dual fuel cell stacks generate 670 horses and the remaining 201 HP is pumped by a super capacitor system that uses the concept of energy regeneration when the brakes are applied. The main reason for the concept to get such good results is understood to be the four high-powered independent motors that Hyundai has incorporated in every wheel for better traction and quicker response.

According to Hyundai, the 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept is an inspiration from aeronautics. With that kind of ergonomics and aesthetic structure, the concept looks nothing less than a fighter jet on wheels. If that is not enough, Hyundai has also tried to master its sound with their Sound Design Research Lab making a unique racing car sound system for fuel-cell based cars to enhance the driving pleasure. So, those planning to purchase the latest Grand Turismo, you are surely in for a treat by Hyundai.
