The Cxperience will be Citroen’s flagship Concept to headline at the Paris Motor Show but we get a sneaky preview.
Citroen has always been an out of the box, over the top manufacturer with their radical and sometimes wacky designs. But this attitude has made sure they always stay ahead of the trend. The Cxperience is their latest creation and it is definitely going to turn heads.
Designed to be a premium family hatchback, the Cxperience looks fresh and optimistic. Make no mistake though, this new concept isn’t just an ordinary hatchback. It symbolises the future design language Citroen plan on adopting in the years to come.
The slim-line front headlamps and the floating roof pillars are highly modern and sophisticated design elements. The whole concept looks intelligently put together. It looks chic and techie at the same time, something few modern concepts can truly pull-off. The suicide doors help in both aesthetic appeal and improved ergonomics. The rear tail is fabulous and seamlessly integrates with the concave rear window. The 22-inch rims and the low-slung roofline add to its overall charm. It’s definitely a sexy little European hatchback.
The Cxperience has a bright citrus yellow interior which is refreshing and appealing. The steering wheel features a square ultra-modern design that compliments the minimalistic approach and looks very Cactus inspired. There’s an extremely large display panel that decorates the front fascia. The interior is funky and definitely checks all the boxes for a concept.
Powering the Cxperience Concept is a hybrid drivetrain that features a 200 HP petrol motor and an 80kW electric motor that work together to offer a healthy 300 HP. The Cxperience can be driven in all-electric mode for a distance of 60 km. This plug-in hybrid trend is definitely catching on with the Frenchmen.
With a month left for the Paris Motor Show, Citroen has already grabbed the headlines with the Cxperience Concept. Funky and modern, the Cxperience is targeted at pleasing a younger audience of the future. We can’t wait to see it in the flesh.
