The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is here to scare away the Europeans

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport has been created to match such levels of perfection, that it radiates brilliance from every angle and every inch! All the curves and lines on the car represents perfection that a man can only dream of. But, dreams do come true. And, it has, at the Geneva Motor Show (just like the Chiron and Regera are finally real). Dusted in an exclusive Watkins Glen Gray Metallic paint, along with the Tension Blue accents on the exterior body and interiors of the car, the Corvette Grand Sport stands tall (and really wide) on the stage.

The American Muscle car maker has installed the Stingray’s massive 6.2 litre LT1 V8, which churns out a massive 460 HP, making it perfect for the lightweight, aerodynamic Corvette Grand Sport. The car clocks a pretty impressive 3.9 seconds to go from 0-100 kmph. Both 7-speed manual and 8-speed automatic gearboxes will be offered in different variants. And to top this good news, the Grand Sport will be available as a Coupe as well as a Convertible. The car amicably rests on the Michelin Pilot Super Sports summer 19-inch tires. These are brought to a standstill by the Brembo 6-piston callipers for the front and a similar 4-piston system for the rear along with a magnetic ride control and a standard electronic limited-slip differential.

The optional Z07 package adds carbon-ceramic matrix brakes and it also upgrades the car’s shoes to Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Cup tires. This package makes cornering easier by providing a 1.2 g value! All of this together boosts the performance of the car (and obviously, the cost likewise). With several optional packages and the kind of personalization available in each package, it just makes us more excited to see each one of these on the road.

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is on display at the Geneva Motor Show and it really makes the visit to Switzerland even more exciting! (Especially if you’re coming from America).
