    BMW X5 M & X6 M To Officially Launch In India On 15th October

    BMW is ready to put its best step forward expand its M lineup and will officially launch the X5M and X6M in the country on 15th October. BMW already has a good set of cars under the M badge that are currently sold in India and these two will surely compliment the current cars as well. The performance SUVs are expected to be priced around Rs. 1.5 crores to Rs. 1.8 crores (ex-showroom) as they will be brought via the CBU route and will be sold from their newly launched M dealerships.

    Badged as BMW M Studios, the showroom opened its doors to customers in Mumbai along with the launch of 2015 M6 Gran Coupe facelift. The Bavarian automaker plans to open more dealerships across the country n cities including Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad. BMW currently sells the M3 sedan, M4 coupe, M5 sedan and M6 Gran Coupe in India.

    Both the BMW X5 M and X6 M draw power from a 4.4-litre TwinTurbo petrol V8 engine that pumps out 575 BHP of power and 750 Nm of torque. The SUVs get an 8-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox and gets leather wrapped M steering wheel with paddle shifters, the xDrive All-Wheel Drive system that will keep these beasts glued to the tarmac. With these kind of specifications, the X5 M and X6 M are capable of doing the 0-100 kmph run in just 4.2 seconds and comes with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.

    The 2015 BMW X5M and X6M are tech loaded consisting and gets Brake Energy Regeneration system, Auto Start Stop function and an ECO PRO mode to get the maximum efficiency of the SUV. You also get self-levelling air suspension, Dynamic Drive and Dynamic Damper Control that lowers the SUVs by 100 mm to enhance the driving pleasure. Coming to the design, the X5 M and X6 M get the awesome M badges and body kits riding on 20-inch M alloy wheels as standard while you get 21-inch wheels as optional.
