Audi is all set to get its S5 Coupe to the Indian shores as per certain news reports online via the CBU route to fulfil the need of customers who want something peppy and yet an everyday runner. The S5 the more performance bred version of the A5 Coupe and will be brought in via the CBU route attracting a premium price tag. So make sure your pockets are deep enough to accommodate Rs. 70-80 lakhs (ex-showroom) because that is the expected pricing of the German automaker’s newest model.
The Audi S5 Coupe is powered by a 3.0-litr V6 TFSI engine that can generate 333 BHP and 440 Nm torque paired to a 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission and comes wtih an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph, while the 0-100 kmph is achieved in just 5.1 seconds. Design wise, the S5 coupe emotes a strong presence with the single frame grille, quad exhaust tips that spice up the look, sharper body curves that are subtle but do show that you mean business. While, the styling isn’t too aggressive, you do have the S5 badges at the front and rear which reveal the performance credentials at a glance.
The Audi S5 Coupe will have the Quattro all-wheel drive to keep itself well planted on roads along with Audi side assist, adaptive xenon headlights that very well completes the package. Entertainment aspect is taken care by the 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and the brand’s famous MMI infotainment unit. Safety features that are parts of the package include a sports differential lock, ABS, EBD, ESC, and ASR systems.
